Although Mayhem is currently identifed as the modern “Trap” Jesus of today he is certainly no stranger to Drum & Bass and is still strongly pushing the Minimal and Neurofunk sound with his fellow Atlanta based partner Logam. Since their alliance in 2012 they have been busy in the studio secretly culminating a plethora of Minimal / Neurofunk tunes.

In 2013 they remixed “American Dream” by Gridlok which was released on his label Project 51. In addition to this they gave away a Techy Neuro roller called “Orion” which immediately received critical acclaim from fans worldwide and reached a combined total of 40,000 soundcloud plays as well as several thousand downloads. Most recently they represented Full Force Recordings 10 Year anniversary release with their tracks “Enigma” and “Vanguard” which made it in to the top 20 DNB Releases on Beatport.

SAN008 not only represents Logam’s third LP sampler, but also marks the duo’s second release on Santoku Records. “All I do” is a classy cut of Neurofunk that starts of with catchy melodies and quickly evolves in to a head nodder laced with “live” drum rolls performed by Logam and sealed by a dubbed out vocal hook that will have you singing along in no time. “Classic” wastes no time providing the vibes as it quickly jumps in to a two step beat accompanied by lots of percussion, delayed efects, pads that weave in and out, and a strong and powerful bassline. Both tunes are DJ friendly Minimal cuts gauranteed to keep the heads bobbing and the subs pumping.
